Danilo owns a style studio with much experience in designing for women’s, men’s and children’s clothing brands. He runs training courses throughout Italy, which take place within companies and educational institutions, and where he teaches the technique of Draping, also known as Moulage. These courses are attended by stylists, pattern makers and fashion industry professionals, all working for well-known luxury and ready-to-wear brands (including, among others, Cucinelli, Max Mara, Moncler, Benetton, The Miroglio Group, Saint Laurent and Red Valentino).
In March 2018, the first of a series of books “The Technique of Moulage” was published and it has been distributed in different languages (4 languages so far) worldwide. All interested readers can order the book (when not in stock) at any bookshop in the whole world.
Along with his most noteworthy skills he also runs a workshop dedicated entirely to the production of made-to-measure garments. His innate passion for, and interest in, the creation of clothes is something that he has nurtured since childhood, and which developed from seeing the clothes in his mother’s own boutique.
Style, elegance and high end tailoring are the key words to describe the creations of “Danilo Attardi”. Perfection, originality and attention to detail and to finishing touches create an ideal environment for the production of his unique 100% made in Italy garments. At the same time he is busy developing and self-producing his own line, for which he takes care of everything himself, right down to the very smallest detail, as he researches, designs and plans its progress. “ADverso”, conceived for urban spaces, is an idea that has emerged from the search for a more contemporary fashion concept, taking its inspiration from the elusiveness and frenetic evolution of designs over time.
